Play. Inspire. Unite.

The Ontario Player Development League’s (OPDL) ninth season kicked off this past weekend, with games taking place across the province. In total, there were 65 games completed, involving 130 teams and over 1,500 players.

The OPDL season continues this weekend with another 93 games scheduled, including Central Venue games at the Ontario Soccer Centre and in Hamilton for the U13 and 14 age groups. Central Venue games are an opportunity for teams to participate in localized locations, with the opportunity to be scouted.

The 2023 OPDL season’s first ID Weekend will also feature Ontario Soccer’s Community Partner, SportChek, who will have a slew of fun activities for attendees to partake in as they celebrate those who exemplify the valuable life lessons learned from sport and highlight how hard work and dedication go far beyond the game. Be sure to check it out if you’re in the area!
